Sharon Galloway
Tonight we welcomed investigator Sharon Galloway.
Somehow I wasn't showing up as available on Skype, so I came in a bit delayed; I knew Ceiling Cat Barbara Duncan was unavailable tonight.
Sharon was speaking of various aspects of Thoughtography of decades earlier, mentioning famous psychic Uri Geller. She was talking about spirit photography, and thought projection onto Poloroid photos, and spoke about Thoughttographer Ted Serios. Sharon pointed out sometimes the best results when the Thoughtographer wa drunk.
As Sharon is a hypnotist, she mentioned being able to instill in people their ability to See and Hear and thereby experience passed-over earthbound entities. "Tabby" Cat joked that maybe she should do that with Henry. Henry asked about the concept of the Akashic Records, which Sharon explained. We spoke about her previously having worked at the Baltimore Edgar Allen Poe house, until the lockdowns due to the CCP virus.
We discussed various aspects of Poe's life. With my connection belying my audio, I couldn't add that my favourite Poe story, tied with Cask of Amontillado, is The Facts in the Case of M. Valdemar, with one of the best sentences: "As I rapidly made the mesmeric passes, amid ejaculations of 'dead! dead!' absolutely bursting from the tongue and not from the lips of the sufferer, his whole frame at once — within the space of a single minute, or even less, shrunk — crumbled — absolutely rotted away beneath my hands. Upon the bed, before that whole company, there lay a nearly liquid mass of loathsome — of detestable putrescence."
Henry had Tabby convey that next week our returning guest would be author Don Allison of I Met a Ghost in Gettysburg.
