Japanese Hauntings
I
had to be called in as while my PC accepted a strong WiFi signal, it was refusing to accept the internet connection.
At the start, considering our discussing our respective areas' weather,
Kat's
reminded everyone of the upcoming Gettysburg trip,
April 22nd through the 24th
at the
David Stewart Farm,
and that after the show they'll be doing an investigation there.
They'll be investigating the battlefields on Friday.
With Kat's return from her fortnight in Japan, tonight we discussed her trip, and Japanese spookiness in general.
She clarified they don't have ghost hunters as we have, as their cultural viewpoint is different than western culture.
While they do have thrill seekers and urban legend seekers, they're more open to UFOs and cryptids than ghosts per se, as they hold a form of ancestor worship.
She spoke about visiting
suicide forest
though she didn't enter it proper.
I pointed out how I hadn't been aware of the caves and pits until I saw the movie
The Forest.
Henry
wonder if
Ceiling Cat Barbara Duncan
had any questions, but she was busy scoping out the
Japanese MUFON site.
CC took us into the first break.
Henry explained to Kat how we'd been doing it during her absence.
I joked we'd done it in foreign languages and semiphore.
CC said tonight would be Klingon.
Amusingly, Henry has a bit of trouble getting the audio for the break to pop right up when CC completed her outro, so I snuck in a few words of Klingon myself.
Had I internet access, I could have gone to the
Klingon Language Institute
and acquired what I could use for the second break.
We discussed UFO sightings in Japan.
The wife of a former Prime Minister is a substantial believer and proponent of UFO activity investigation.
Kat and Mike were there during the
Cherry Blossom Festival
so there was much jubilation for the few days they were in season.
Kat spoke about their renting local internet photos so she could post
on
her Facebook page
and post
Instragram videos
in real time.
CC brought up the
radioactive boars
near Chernobyl;
Kat pointed out that boars
(and bears),
are a regular danger in Japan.
Kat said she went to see a
Haunted Lantern
about which she discusses on her
jinxed comic
site.
Henry pointed out this year's upcoming April 9th and 10th
Victory of Light Festival
he planned to attend, at which he'll be networking to acquire some upcoming show guests.
CC jokingly referenced the fictional
Monster Island
from a few of the Japanese Kaiju movies, such as
Destroy All Monsters.
CC and I brought up
Cat Island
and
Rabbit Island.
Kat indicated there was a terribly shot viral video about
something Nessie-like
floating up the Thames.
I gave out my website's
Paranormal View hub
page at which one can find the show's respective report pages, the show's
official website
and that we're very
findable on Facebook,
and my Followable
Twitter presence.
Kat gave out her own
website,
the show's
@Paraviewradio
Twitter presence, that we/the show can be emailed at
theparanormalview@gmail.com;
that the show is also
available on iTunes,
and her
@katklockow
information, and her
@jinxedcomic
Twitter accounts.
Ceiling Cat Barbara Duncan can be Followed on Twitter
@EllenSmythee.
