Conspiracy "Theories"
With
Kat Klockow
in Japan this and the next week, and
my
being booked Saturday and Sunday on episode 211 for the web series
Adopted,
tonight it was just hosts
Henry Foister
and
Ceiling Cat Barbara Duncan,
discussing various paranormal stories in the news.
The show opened with a famous 911 call of a man being terrified with what would seem to be a Sasquatch not only trespassing in his yard again, but peering in the window at him while speaking to the 911 operator.
Henry brought up the recent story of
dinosaur DNA cloning
experiments underway, what with a pregnant T-Rex having been discovered.
CC misremembered an aspect of
Jurassic Park,
claiming they used chicken DNA to help clone the dinosaurs, as opposed to their using amphibian frog DNA
(as done in both the book and film).
Oops.
Henry then found an article regarding
escaped Cobia fish
that have gotten loose in Equador, and apparently they're
headed north towards California.
CC countered regarding the invasive species known as
walking catfish.
She added the related story that the mystery of the
Tully Monster
apparently
has been solved.
Somehow CC felt this bizarre creature, seemingly designed by a madman, "could appear to resemble" the
plesiosaur-esque
Loch Ness Monster.
Henry clarified he used to swim in the ocean, but not so far out anymore.
A shame I wasn't there to tell him about the upcoming
Blake Lively
suspense film
The Shallows...
Henry also seemed to have only recently learned about
flying fish.
Henry had CC tell the "sad but cute" story about a preserved puppy that'd been caught in an avalanche...
twelve thousand years ago.
CC spoke about
Dracula's Castle,
aka
Bran Castle,
being for sale.
Henry was surprised Transylvania being an actual country
(in the Carpathian Mountains),
referencing the
classic Universal movies
of the 1930-40s.
CC mentioned Bram Stoker basing Dracula on the castle; my absence prevented me from imparting Bram Stoker's fascination with the concept of the undead began when he was a sickly child, traipsing through
Highgate Cemetary
in an era when funerals and death were not to be feared, and families would spend Sunday tea in their buried but sky-light lit family mausoleums.
Stoker would see the families having tea, and fantasize their being dead but still behaving like the living, etc
(which I'd learned taking the Highgate tour back in 1984 when I visited London for several days).
CC continued that on one paranormal investigation show, they were provoking
Vlad Tepes,
clearly having forgotten the sort of ruler he was,
impaling thousands of people,
while having dinner.
Henry concurred why take such a chance, as CC reminded this was not Casper the friendly ghost.
Henry wondered "where Casper was at," considering the beloved comic-books' fan theory that
Casper is Richie Rich's ghost...
After the first break, CC conveyed
"20 Eye opening facts from the world of psychology."
During this, somehow the show dropped off from the
chat room,
and they had to reset the server to get back in to the live chat.
Henry reported the upcoming duo of
Emerald Green Comets
about to pass closest to earth than any other comet in over 250 years.
Tonight's Henryism: "The moon is not rotating because every time I look outside I still see the same face of the moon."
(CC pointed out it does actually rotate.)
Continuing with the astological subject, Henry posited the precise plotline of the movie
Journey to the Far Side of the Sun.
CC felt that such a concept is what is referred to as
Planet Ten,
not to be confused with
The Tenth Planet,
aka
Mondas.
As Mars is not precisely the same orbit as Earth, it would have been able to see the other side of the sun in our orbit, and it has not done so, pretty much disspelling that concept.
Henry indicated always wanting to have been involved in SETI.
CC told him about
BOINC,
an open source program that will allow Henry's computer to use its idle time to cure diseases, study global warming
(sic),
discover pulsars, and "do many other types of scientific research,"
that SETI has a
similar program
Henry could download to his computer.
After the second break
CC reported that tonight the show had listeners in the US, the UK, Malasia, Australia, and Finland.
Henry suspected that Unknown, which was missing tonight, may be off celebrating with Kat.
Henry took up the next story: about
John Podesta working to get Hillary Clinton to declassify UFO documents.
He also brought up the phenomenon resulting in
Japanese taxi drivers picking up ghost passengers
in the area that was hit by the 2011 Tsunami.
CC pointed out this was the date of the
Spring Equinox,
aka
Ostara,
which eventually was co-opted into Easter.
Henry brought up there having been a recent
video interview
with
Bob Lazar.
Henry realized with St. Patrick's Day having just passed, they could discuss various Celtic stories, folklore, et al, starting out with
Leprechauns.
CC pointed out that St. Patrick's Day is also
St. Gertrude's Day,
St. Gertrude being the
patron saint of cats.
Henry reminded everyone of the upcoming Gettysburg trip,
Aoril 22nd through the 24th
at the
David Stewart Farm,
and that after the show they'll be doing an investigation there.
They'll be investigating the battlefields on Friday.
Henry gave out the show's
official website,
though which, he pointed out, one can find the
hosts' bios,
including but not limited to
Barbara's cemetery photography.
Being absent, I was unable to give out my website's
Paranormal View hub
page at which one can find the show's respective report pages, and that we're very
findable on Facebook,
and my Followable
Twitter presence,
nor was
Kat's website
provided, or her hosting the show's
@Paraviewradio
Twitter presence, that we/the show can be emailed at
theparanormalview@gmail.com;
that the show is also
available on iTunes,
or that one should visit her
jinxedcomic.com
site for Kat's graphic novel, and/or her alternate
@jinxedcomic
Twitter account,
and Henry and CC wrapped out for the evening.
