Thomas Freese, returning
Tonight we had
returning guest
author and storyteller
Thomas L. Freese;
for his
fourth time.
Henry
mentioned we'd be focusing on his
Haunted Battlefields of the South
book, much of which was Kentucky based.
He added that in this, as well as other books, he has some spirit photos.
Henry had Thomas speak about
hauntings
of
Perryville,
with intelligent ghostly interactions, not simply residual hauntings.
He mentioned an aspect called
Battle Fog
in which actual sounds from the original battles come through.
Thomas spoke about
Squire Bottom's House,
where sighted ghosts are thought to be Very Authentic looking recreationists.
Ceiling Cat Barbara Duncan
brought us back from the first break, announcing our having listeners in
the US, the UK, Australia, Canada, the Netherlands and Unknown.
Thomas discussed the area known as
Parson's Battery
and
Andersonville Prison
area activity.
He also spoke about
Shakertown
experiences during the war between the states, what with his
Shaker Ghost Stories from Pleasant Hill, Kentucky
book.
CC asked Thomas about the
Ghost Mist
about which Thomas indicated, where ghostly experiences are accentuated.
Henry had him speak about the "hornet's nest."
When he tried to have Thomas talk about
Fort Pillow,
Thomas veered to stories about the horrific murder of
Gilbert Spencer,
and the dreadful conditions of
Andersonville Prison.
He spoke briefly about
Colonel Roger Hanson,
and his being invited to speak with
Jerry Bruckheimer's
writers at a retreat.
Thomas suggested if Henry wanted to check out Perryville, he could stay at the rather haunted
Homestead Inn B&B.
Thomas provided his
website,
and as he collects stories, if anyone wanted to contact him, he gave out his
email address,
as well as his
facebook page.
Henry reminded that next week, being Independence Day, we would have a previous show replayed.
I gave out my
my Paranormal View hub page
on my website, indicating people from there can find the show's respective report pages,
that we're very
findable on Facebook,
the official
Paranormal View page
page, and that I can be Followed
on Twitter;
Kat indicated
the show's presence on Twitter;
her
jinxedcomic.com
site, and her
jinxedcomic Facebook
and
jinxedcomic Twitter
presences.
