Thomas Freese
Tonight we had
returning guest
author and storyteller
Thomas L. Freese.
We started out with technical difficulties
as we did last time
Thomas was a guest.
Henry finally got it working, starting again with the extended
Where Everybody Knows Your Name
version of the theme from
Cheers.
Henry asked what locations were used from
Shaker Ghost Stories,
which has been updated with new stories.
He had been up in Whitewater, ohio from which he acquired new stories to add.
To Henry my audio was breaking up, as was Henry's voice in my earphones, so after I rebooted my phone as Skype was being a jerk, Henry called me back in.
While I was off-air, Thomas recounted some Pleasant Hill Shaker ghost stories, as well as background on the Shakers themselves.
Barbara brought us back from the first break, announcing our having listeners in the US, France, Finland, and apparently even the Arctic circle.
Henry asked after Thomas's
Strange and Wonderful Things
book had somewhat tongue in cheek thriller stories such as one of killer dust-bunnies.
He spoke of a horror story in
Fog Swirler
about a grave robber, based on true events.
Of late he's also been collecting animal ghost stories.
He spoke of his recent
Eerie Encounters in Everyday Life: Angels, Aliens, Ghosts, and Haunts
the third of his Angel series, the other two being
Ghost, Spirits & Angels: True Tales From Kentucky & Beyond
and
More True Tales of Ghosts, Spirits & Angels.
While on the previous show he had clarified while into cryptozoology, he wasn't into Sasquatch, apparently Stuff Has Happened since last he was on the show.
He's also been collecting UFO stories of Lost Time and such.
Suddenly I lost my internet connection and had to wait for it to re-establish itself.
Often after one of his presentations, he meets people who offer their own stories; Thomas spoke about a woman in eastern Kentucky who had some interesting stories.
He told us the story Our Nanny the Witch and such from one of his books.
Thomas gave out his
website,
his
facebook page
and his
email address
(to which people can send inquiries, contribute ghost stories, et al),
and reminding that's he's a Storyteller For Hire...
I gave out my
my Paranormal View hub page
on my website, indicating people from there can find the show's respective report pages,
that we're very
findable on Facebook,
the official
Paranormal View page
page,
but with less than a minute I wasn't able to impart information regarding the
health products
I promote which people should be taking by indicating anyone wanting to live longer and healthier, and/or with health and/or weight issues or just...
chronologically aging
in general...
could
contact me directly,
et al,
Kat provided her
Hunt For Ghosts page,
and her all new
Kat Klockow website,
Barbara actually imparted her
Facebook
information tonight,
and even Henry gave out his
Facebook information,
of sorts, and we wrapped out.
