GhostSoldiers:
Patrick McCormack and Doug McReynolds
Tonight we welcomed back
Patrick McCormack
and
Doug McReynolds
of
GhostSoldiers.
Henry
started out talking about the haunted
Mr. G's Ice Cream Parlour
at which they acquired a few EVPs.
Pat talked about their being in
Pennhurst Asylum
and that Doug "was jumped" a few times, even catching one on video.
Kat
pointed out she and her group had once been bum rushed in the same cellar.
Doug clarified his experience.
They felt it was a crowd mentality within the ghosts there.
They and Kat agreed that the
Mayflower Building
being one of the most concentrated haunted areas.
Kat had been in a
Nurse Catherine's
room, outside of which was a Shadow Person pacing about.
Another Shadow Person emerged from the floor, and attacked the group.
They'll be returning to Pennhurst sometime in March to host a group.
Kat wondered if Henry could go along, as he'd once gone
(a nine hour drive),
but ended up not being allowed on the hunt.
Henry pointed out in May he'd be going to
Waverly Hills,
which Kat reminded was an entirely different month.
They spoke about Pat's trip to Italy, at which he got some EVPs.
With his mom for her Bucket List, he'd gone to Rome, where he went to the Vatican, Colosseum, et al.
He spoke about the city's founding by Romulus and Remus in 753 BCE.
He also spoke about how he learned how best to end up being within mere feet of the Pope as he passed by.
Pat indicated that Italians are very open to ghosts' presence; in Venice there were skeleton symbology everywhere.
Before the trip, he'd learned tons of tips and tricks in order to see as much as they wanted without a lot of queue waiting.
I
pointed out my family visiting Italy, but my being nine years old at the time.
Patrick also stressed how phenominal was the Italian food, compared to Americanized "versions" of Italian food: everything was so fresh and far superior to what one would have in America.
In Florence, they had their own personal tour guide who just led them around and conveyed historical information.
Ceiling Cat
Barbara
brought us back from the first break, conveying our having listeners tonight in the US, the UK, Australia, Canada, and two Unknowns...
Pat spoke about getting massive feelings of presences, and EVPs in
San Lorenzo's
tomb; even EVPs in the hotel stairwells.
They also took a tour of the Strosi palace, photos after the first two of which had tons of orbs, some as though on the balcony looking down.
Video recording in "Raphel's Rooms," there were beautiful paints: two orbs shot out and sailed up towards the ceiling.
Kat took a question from Aussie Jeff Melbourne, Australia, asking about EVPs being in Italian.
Henry first played a few EVPs from the Colloseum, the first sounding like "Wake up."
The next, on the second floor, all alone, he got an EVP on turning on the recorder.
Next was in the Sistine Chapel, where protocol prohibits speaking.
CC revealed that speaking releasing more C02, which damages the paint.
After the second break, CC asked about sleeping in haunted locations.
Pat asked Doug to regale his experience sleeping at the
Halderman Mansion summer house
where Doug was able to sleep peacefully, while Pat was irritably unable to sleep as the ghosts kept bothering him by moving chairs or close doors.
Pat clarified his own home is haunted where sleep is a non issue, but at the Halderman Mansion, he was all but a comical target.
Due to Doug's ability to sleep though considerable sounds, he and Pat spoke about some of their war between the states reenactment events.
Henry went to play one of the EVPs Pat got at the Sistine Chapel, though at first accidentally began playing the Real Genius promo.
A second EVP had the cryptic, sing-song "Quit looking at a dead man" message.
A third had the word "comfortable."
These EVPs were below the Hrz of human speech.
Another EVP Pat suspected was his late father who may have come along on the trip.
Then Henry played a few of the EVPs they'd acquired at Pennhurst.
At pne point they had been using an
Ovulus
set on Touch Only mode, which while left sitting on its own, the ghosts began to learn how to activate it.
They'd brought a teddy bear as a
Trigger Prop.
which may have helped bring forth the name Jane.
One EVP even sounded like a gunshot.
Also played were a couple of EVPs caught at Mr. G's Ice Cream Parlour as Henry lost track of time, running us over time a bit.
While Pat didn't give out their
@patghostsoldiers1
Twitter account, he did impart their
Facebook profile,
and their
theghostsoldiers website,
stressing the site having a new Italy page.
I hastily gave out my
my Paranormal View hub page
on my website, indicating people from there can find the show's respective report pages,
and, as I lacked time, implied that on that page was the information that we're very
findable on Facebook,
the official
Paranormal View page
page, but did invite everyone to
Follow Me
on Twitter at
@realbadger.
Kat gave out the show being on Twitter at
@Paraviewradio,
and as she had to skip mentioning her
Hunt For Ghosts page
website, that if one did a Search on her name, it would bring up her
katklockow.com website
and all.
Henry quickly conveyed the next week our guest would be
returning
author
Annie Wilder
of
House of Spirits and Whispers: The True Story of a Haunted House,
and we wrapped out.
