Jason Snyder and T.J. Gilbert
Tonight's guest was paranormal investigator and podcaster
Jason Snyder
and
T.J. Gilbert
of
The Firelands Podcast.
We ran into tech difficulties, so
Henry
had to reboot everything to get us started.
Jason spoke about he and T.J. meeting when they were in their mid teens, and at the time their being hellions.
As they grew and they'd begun starting families, they reconnected and decided to start their podcast.
T.J. spoke of his family owning a mountain home in West Virginia.
On one visit, T.J. espied a UFO, which triggered his interest in the unknown and paranormal.
Jason spoke of his early experiences; after his grandmother had passed from a long bout with cancer, Activity began in their home, such as doors self-opening and closing.
Windows opening and slamming shut on their own.
Jason once woke to see her standing there as a clear, full body apparition.
Jason's father was the ultimate skeptic, even going so far as nailing shut the windows.
Jason's mother was very much a believer.
When finally a box rotated in place on a table in front of him, Jason's father finally became a believer.
Jason and T.J. began exploring places
T.J. tapered off investigating when his family begans producing offspring.
Jason had moved to Fort Wayne, Indiana, and delved into its history.
He began blogging on the how does-it-stll-exist MySpace.
Jason began reaching out locally to start a paranormal investigation group, the
Indiana Team of Anomolous Research.
T.J> had been part of the local-to-him group even earlier than Jason.
We had a new new Henryism: going to say genre which came out as gendre.
We discussed at length the moon, one of T.J.'s favourite subjects, conspiracies surrounding it, et al.
The two discussed their podcast's "format," being rather loose, topic meandering, time-wise flexible, sometimes a li'l NSFW language, etc.
T.J. had to leave early so we went to our break, though
my
connection fell short doing to the outro to the break.
After the break my connection continued going in and out.
Jason pointed out loving
Waverly Hills,
understandably.
He's also investigated with
Keith Age.
He mentioned numerous places at which he's investigated, including but not limited to
Poasttown Elementary School.
Henry recommended the
Preble County Historical Society,
currently unavailable due to the unlawful
CCP Virus
lockdowns.
Jason commended Henry investigatng during the daytime, which Jason often does as well.
He spoke about getting a child EVP when investigating
The Catholic Cemetery
during the day.
