Tim Maile
Tonight we welcomed author and paranormal investigator Tim Maile (thankfully before the show, pointing out his surname being pronounced "Myley," not "Maile" or "Mailey"...), of Fox Cities Paranormal Team.
Tim had never experienced, or even thought about, the paranormal until he begun experiencing it, when in his current house into which he'd moved began having voices, footsteps, et al. There was even an audible arguement that emininated from one of the closets. He'd had to study the paranormal on his own, as local paranormal group never returned his contact requests.
He was pleased he had proof he was really hearing things, as his dog would follow the same sounds. Tim has also worked with Scotty Rorek.
Kat discussed with Tim about the formation of his team, and investigative teamwork in general.
Henry asked after what sort of equipment Tim and his team uses. Tim uses digital recorders, IR camera, hand held night-vision, etc., though he prefers using his natural senses.
The best/favourite evidence Tim so far has caught has been an EVP of an intelligent reply to direct question.
Ceiling Cat Barbara asked after Tim's counciling children as well as family members at residential investigations. They'd gone to one home where two bad investigative teams that jumped to "demonic," as opposed to just Spirit.
Coming back from break Aussie Jeff had won a copy of Tim's book All Roads Lead to the Paranormal by correctly answering the name of Tim's investigative group. CC also reported our having listeners tonight in the US, the UK, Australia, Canada, the Netherlands, Germany, and Unknown.
Henry asked Tim about his investigations at Poasttown Elementary School. Tim spoke about his he'd come across a bull mastiff he rescued, and found its owner, but that due to that good Samaritan deed, he actually missed the investigation...
After the second break CC asked if Tim had investigated Waverly Hills; he has not, but he has investigated Mansfield Reformatory.
It turned out Henry had stumped everyone with the previous question as to Pawtographs for Pooches being the animal rescue group Tim founded.
With the question as to the title of Tim's book, Sherri in the chat room won a copy of All Roads Lead to the Paranormal. Henry had CC to aske the third question, regarding missing the Poasttown investigation due to rescuing the bull mastiff. It was quickly won by Bob Nichols.
Henry asked about Hillview Manor, but Tim has not yet been there. Kat asked about what is in Wisconsin that would interest paranormal investigations; Tim spoke of the First Ward Schoolhouse.
