Wanda Kay
Tonight, for the first hour at least, we welcomed psychic medium
Wanda Kay.
She runs
The Ghost Shop,
which handles varied tours, including the
Thompson House,
the
Sedamsville Rectory,
and the
Wolf House.
Formerly working as a DJ at
Bobby Mackey's,
she started as a DJ, then set up a shop there, until the "got too big" for there.
The tours run about an hour, including the tour, then some time allowed for mini-personal ghost hunting.
She spoke about the hauntings at Wolf House, so intense the owner was ready to let the bank take it back, but Wanda convinved him to let her rent it out for private ghost hunting.
She also handles
Mr. T's Tavern on Main.
We held off a break until Wanda departed.
When we got back,
Ceiling Cat
Barbara
indicated tonight our having listeners in the US, the UK, Canada, and France.
Henry
asked about anything paranormal stuff; updating the
Slender Man stabbing story
one of the 12 year old girls being considered incompetent to stand trial, and both being charged as adults.
We joked about movie tropes such as murderers leaving the door ajar, movie horror storylines and silly character decisions, as well as a bit on Dungeons and Dragons.
We discussed children Sensing things in the closet or beneath the bed.
We delved mainly into movies, such as
Teenagers from Outer Space,
which I urged only to be watched via
MST3K,
the brilliant
Forbidden Planet,
the creepy
Trilogy of Terror,
et al.
I retold the tale of my using original music from
Dark Shadows
for a stage production of
The Haunting of Hill House.
CC wondered what would be more frightening at an actual investigation:
a Shadow Person seen in the corner of the eye, or a Full Body Apparition in front of you?
CC asked me about my
ghostly bathroom experience.
Sherri asked if I'd worked on any horror movies; I conveyed having worked on
Live-in Fear,
which was finally being premiered, September fifth at the
United Film Festival.
Henry mentioned
Village of the Damned,
giving me the in to reference my having a tongue-in-cheek
Village of the Damned Cats
Facebook page.
Wanda
gave out her
website,
information, along with her
Facebook
page as well as her
Twitter
profile.
I gave out the
Paranormal View hub page
on my website, indicating people from there can find the show's respective report pages,
that we're very
findable on Facebook,
the official
Paranormal View page
page, as well as
Kat's website,
our show
being on Twitter
under the name
@Paraviewradio;
et al.
Barbara implied
her Facebook
profile with cemetery photos and we wrapped out.
