Once more
I'd worked on
CSI: Crime Scene Investigation,
thrice before; unlike the first and third
(a halfway-house resident, and a homeless person),
it was similar to the second in which I was a college professor, but this time, even more upscale.
This time I was an "elegant diner," though wardrobe felt my suit not as high up as they wanted, so they provided me with a suit, shirt and tie.
Basecamp was near the Pasadena Gold Line Filmore Station, though from Hollywood I took the 780 to Fair Oaks and walked south from Colorado Boulevard, arriving around 8:15am for my 9am calltime.
The impressively pragmatic PA gave me my voucher on my arrival
(many insist on waiting until the calltime to give out the paperwork).
I was able to have it filled out and ready, and have a hot breakfast before reporting to wardrobe at 9am.
We were shuttled to the location, an impressive South Pasadena mansion on Oak Knolls;
our holding was actually next door, in the driveway.
As always the ADs and PAs was very pleasant, and the crew remarkably efficient.
(Remember that I do not believe in providing storyline spoilers myself [such generally currently and/or eventually being readily available Elsewhere notwithstanding], in my report/s I only convey indications of where I can be seen.)
For the scene
Elizabeth Shue
and
George Eads
were on hand, along with guest star
Steve Valentine.
At one point between shots
Derek Mio
and I traded a few macabre puns and word-plays; I pretty much amused him most with "autopsy-turvy"...
Depending on the editing, I could have some primo face time during the main aspect of the brief scene.
The scene that
[presumably]
would follow would have me being deeper background, being interviewed.
While we went into overtime, it did not seem like a Long Day, thanks again to the pleasantness and professionalism of the crew.
Based on episode 16 scheduled to air May fifth,
I suspected this episode, #20, might air in April second, barring pre-emptions and thereby re-scheduling.
