Mr. Know It All, as it were
Tonight's guest was suggested by Henry:
Mr. Know It All.
He started off speaking regarding fat ghosts, as well as the spokesman for the devil and evil spirits.
Kat had earlier provided him some
famous true ghost photos
from
her website;
she started with the
military ghost,
the
Madonna of bachelors Grove Cemetary,
the
Tombstone Arizona cemetary,
photo, and the
Wem Ghost Girl
photo,
aka the
ghost girl in the burning building,
which apparently has been debunked.
He spoofed a bit on Doctor Who, that time travel only worked towards the past, but not to the future.
He explained that monsters under childrens' beds were ghosts of prehistoric creatures,
the Loch Ness Monster as a genetic experiment gone wrong, distinctions between dead and undead, vampires, chupacabra, et al.
He discussed the distinctive,
various places Bigfoot has been sighted,
several of which clearly have been overlooked, and how they hide in plain sight.
He spoke about how the leaps and bounds in technology are due to reverse-engineered alien tech, and how medical advances are due to government experiments on aliens.
On asked about chem-trails, and what are they, he replied flatly: "Weather balloons."
Barbara indicated tonight we had listeners from the US, UK, Finland, Canada and France, so people were being baffled in three different languages.
After the second break we revealed that Mr. Know It All was in fact, actor and improvisationalist
David Gold,
my best friend of many many years.
This did not preclude David's interest in the paranormal; with his daughter Victoria he has investigated the haunted
Prison in Mount Holly
and that Victoria is similarly Sensitive.
They've wanted to check out
Eastern State Prison
in Philadelphia.
He's Seen things at
Six Flags over Great Adventure
where he could see what seemed to be ghosts wandering around where a Haunted Castle attraction had
burned to the ground the year before.
Dave thought he and Victoria may have visited
Fort Mifflin
but wasn't a hundred percent certain, as Dave's wife Jeanne had learned it was haunted.
While Sensitive, he's not lived in any houses with previous residents that'd died, so no haunted homes.
Victoria at one point felt a spirit was following her, so to put her mind at ease they smudged the place with sage.
So far they have not acquired any EVPs.
Karin asked about a humanoid creature with a bloody face getting into bed with people, but David wasn't aware of that.
Kat explained it as
Rawhead Rex,
a British urban legend that has increased of late,
not to be confused with the
movie of the same name.
Henry asked Dave if he could discern the fascination for ghosts.
We discussed the Disney
Haunted Mansion/s
being actually haunted.
Henry indicated the best recorders for EVPs are the
Sony P720
and the
Sony P312.
I provided the show's various page locations
(my hub page,
the show's
official site,
that we're findable on
on Facebook),
et al);
David gave out his
Facebook
information, and
Kat
gave out
her website
on which is her graphic novel; and gave her shout-out to her friends'
Relay for life Indiana Ghost Trackers Southeast Central Chapter team
event link, as I added to several of the previous weeks' editions, indicating their participating for a "hunt for cancer cure,"
the fact the
cure for cancer exists
already notwithstanding.
Henry didn't point out about any guest the next week, but as Dave and I each riffed, sending Kat and CC into laughter spasms, we just let the show peter out....
