Elaine Kuzmeskus
Tonight's guest was
Elaine Kuzmeskus,
M.S., Director of the
New England School of Metaphysics.
Due to it being a Moving Day for me
(my friend adamently reclaiming the room in his house in which I'd been staying somewhat longer than he'd original anticipated when he rescued me from my rampaging,
mind-lost
former friend),
I ended up being delayed by about a half hour, whilst Craig had been delayed as his GPS lost its signal, pretty much throwing up its hands and admitting Craig was on his own finding his way back to civilization
(though he still made it on the air before I did).
I would be at the new Temp Place through the rest of January
(a four-person roommate situation; one had suddenly moved out, and I was contacted to take the available position),
awaiting bathroom renovations at the place that would be taking me in at the start of February.
Once I was in the temporary flat I set up my computer with my monitor atop my desktop computer, and using bankers boxes I elevated the keyboard.
Roommate Darcy let me use her folding chair so I wouldn't have to kneel on the hardwood floor.
I got into the room at 5:35pm, pretty much in time I anticipated Craig would be taking us into break, but Elaine immediately started chatting with me.
On learning she was based in Connecticut, I told her of my having been to beautiful Kent, its falls and being so close to creepy
Dudleytown and Dark Entry;
she said she'd have to tell her Dudleytown story, that it was Creepy...
Elaine spoke of and some of the original history of EVPs; Craig spoke of some of his EVP experiences.
She confirmed my recollection of Thomas Edison having acquired EVPs during his experiments.
Spoke of her books
Seance 101
and
Connecticut Ghosts,
about investigating
Samuel Clemens'
house in Hartford, Connecticut, built in the shape of a riverboat.
She also spoke of
Harriet Beecher Stowe
and other aspects of spiritualism in Hartfort.
During the show we again began hearing light-fingered typing that we clarified was none of us on the call.
Elaine also discussed
Ledge Lighthouse
in New London
with
a ghost named Ernie,
as well as
Eugene O'Niell's
home, also in in New London, in which Elaine sensed his mother's spirit.
Elaine also told of the Thomas Benton house in Holland, Connecticut;
purchased in the 1600s by the Greensmiths.
A woman in the town became ill, mostly likely flu, but deliriously accused the Greensmiths of witchcraft.
Alse Young was murdered via the Catch-22 witchcraft Drowning Test
(survive and you're a witch; drown and you were innocent),
after which the "conveniently available" home was bought by Benton.
Alse Young
having the dubious distinction of being the first person in the records executed for witchcraft in the thirteen American colonies.
Eliane and I began discussing Dudleytown and Kent at length
(out pretty much ignoring Henry's occasional attempts to have another break),
my experience/s
regarding there as well as hers.
I took us into the second break, mentioning listeners being welcome to dance, but Henry had cued up a ballad.
Henry conveyed tonight we had listeners in the US, UK, Australia, and... Other.
Eliane provided numerous predictions, balanced with positive and negative predictions.
She spoke of
Houdini,
(the
Broadway show,
and official Houdini seances),
and of table tipping, on which she even has a class...!
As the show wound down, Elaine provided her
Facebook
and
website
info, as well as mentioning her pre-orderable book
The Art of Mediumship: Psychic Investigation, Clairvoyance, and Channeling
Henry notified the listeners that
Doug and Pat
of
Ghostsoldiers
would be next week's guest/s....
Once again Podomatic irritatingly insists on money for its "free" service, so Henry
uploaded the podcast
onto
Para-x On Demand,
so it's Just The Link, not the embedded podcast too.
