Paranormal View; Saturday nights at 8pm eastern, 5pm pacific

Saturday 27 February 2021
Cat Gasch
Tonight's returning guest was author and paranormal investigator "Tabby" Cat Snider Gasch.
Answering Henry's questions regarding activity levels, what with the CCP Virus keeping away investigators. Cat posited that, like actors, spirits may "need an audience;" without people coming into their space, the spirits cannot feed off peoples' lifeforce energy.
She went to one location, asking of the spirits whether they missed crowds (of investigators). The EVP she got was: "It's nice and quiet."
At strong>Antietam albeit outdoors, the group was wearing masks. One ghost indicated the mask covered her face nicely; Cat wasn't sure whether it was a compliment.
In Gettysburg with photographe, author, and paranormal investigator Craig Rupp masks were work in town, but on the battlefield it was free-face.
When we went to break, Henry forgot that generally I do the outro thereof...
After the break, Ceiling Cat Barbara Duncan reported our having listeners tonight in the US, Canada, the UK, and the Ukraine. I joked that maybe Hunter was listening...
We discussed the original Roland Doe story events of the exorcism that would become The Exorcist novel.
Cat and I also discussed the Omen trilogy: The Omen as well as Omen 2 and Omen 3.
We discussed various TV ghost hunting shows.
Cat spoke about visiting Scotland outside of Edinburgh in 2005. At night she heard what at first she suspected was posturing cats about to fight; the classic low growl that precedes even hissing. She went outside the B&B, and the hairs went up on her neck; to her side was a cinderblock wall in front of which was a black mass that hastened away. The next morning other guests asked if she'd also heard
Henry joked about the Zuni Warrior festish from Trilogy of Terror, effectively freaking out Cat remembering it.
I pointed out (as we'd been discussing Dan Curtis projects), I related how many years ago back east I'd done sound design for a stage production of Haunting of Hill House where I utlized music cues from the original Dark Shadows. She loved how that worked out.
