A quick day's shoot
I spent the day as a jazz club goer (for two different scenes), in the little-known Gregory Hines film The Tic Code. To my knowledge the poignant, humour-laced drama was never released in theatres: I caught the feature "by accident" on the Independent Film Channel IFC .
I am visible during one of the club jazz sessions, wearing my green striped shirt.

Loss
Listening to the radio at my then day-job, I heard the disturbing news that Gregory Hines, born February 14, 1946, passed away August 9, 2003 from cancer at age 57.
