Tenth Anniversary
Tonight's show was we hosts,
Henry,
Ceiling Cat Barbara,
and
myself,
celebrating the live radio show's tenth anniversary edition.
Henry brought back first guest host
Beth Brown,
and they discussed various early guests the show had.
Beth and I spoke about our
having met
when she visited Los Angeles in 2010.
Henry and Beth recalled their investigation at
Fort Mifflin.
Henry brought in
Craig Rupp
who co-hosted with me during my start co-hosting.
I conveyed the
horror story of my first show
as co-host, to Beth's amusement, as she was unaware of what had taken place.
Henry spoke about good and "bad" guests; those to whom one can say "how are you?" and they can go for two hours on their own, and others take a complex question and they'll just say, "yeah"...
He indicated
Kat
would come on at the top of the second hour.
We discussed past recurring guests such as
Thomas Wertman.
Henry's wife
Patsy
offered to do a Free Reading from
Nyla
as part of the celebration.
Beth offered a copy of her book
Haunted Plantation
Kat Klockow came on as a Guest.
Henry spoke about Kat's start as a co-host, starting 14 April 2011, after having been a guest in February 2011, promoting her
Haunted Hoosier Halls: Indiana University
book.
Henry brought up at that time bringing on the other then-to-current co-host, Ceiling Cat Barbara Duncan,
31 March 2012.
Henry played a clip of her introduction to the show.
I was off on the Queen Mary that weekend for the first Donn Shy paranormal event weekend.
Henry announcement Craig had an announcement.
Surprised he had to say it, Craig offered a copy of his
From Hollywood Gettysburg
book to a lucky listener.
Henry played a clip from
Mark Phillips'
guest
appearance,
which the chatroom could hear, we on Skype could not.
Apparently the then-intro to the show was so creepy to Mark he had to run to lock his front door as the show started.
Henry brought in the one and only Thomas Wertman as a guest.
Henry pointed out that while
Marla Brooks'
show
Stirring the Cauldron,
was the longest running on
Para-X,
The Paranormal View is the second longest running.
After Henry played a tribute audio Marla made for the anniversary show, then indicated Marla being in the
chat room,
so I suggested/urged her being brought in to the show live, which we did.
I couldn't help bringing up Beth having been a guest judge on the odd "reality" TV series
Paranormal Challenge,
at
Waverly Hills
and
Pennhurst.
Off-air CC reported our having listeners tonight in the US, UK Canada and Unknown.
As always, the two hours zipped on by, as Henry would say, so we somewhat hastily had to wrap up.
We said our names as goodbyes, somewhat vocally colliding a bit.
