The Coal Bin
Script's part two Table Read at We Make Movies

Tweets during event
As with all WeMake Movies table-read event nights, audience members were encouraged to tweet using the #WeMakeMovies hashtag.
Below are tweets reflecting how went the table-read of the second part of the Henry Foister story-inspired The Coal Bin he suggested/requested I adapt.
Amusingly, and I could see why it would happen, notwithstanding two readers playing characters not having yet said anything, the audience started to applaud just before the quick epilogue, not realizing narrating Leslie, having said, "Fade out," was about to say "Fade in" (for the epilogue). She did, quite loudly, politely but firmly shutting down the applause.

It reminded me of a bit on the old Dick Van Dyke Show, where they're attending a classical orchestral concert. The orchestra hits a solid note that pauses the music, somewhat sounding like the piece's final note. Rob smiles and raises his hands to clap, while Laura (aware the music has a bit more to go), silently reaches over quickly to slam his hands down into his lap, never once looking away from the stage. She was clearly aware in advance that Rob would mistake the pause for the composition's end.

Jessica Rothert corrected them that
they got wrong her Twitter name.

Not sure why Steve Brock
made it into the reader list
as he wasn't in it...
