Rick Waid
Our guest tonight was medium, psychic
Rick Waid,
author of
My Paranormal Journey: One Man's Obsession.
Henry
asked Rick about his interests growing in the paranormal via some of the TV "reality" ghost "investigation" shows.
Rick indicated really only watching
Ghost Hunters.
Rick has begun ghost hunting on his own, almost as a lark, first checking out a "creepy house" with his son.
After a door closed on its own at Rick's verbal behest, Rick returned with a video camera.
He made it a nightly excursion at midnight.
At one point he tried baby powder, and it went undisturbed but the recorder still got audio of someone or more walking around.
As this would start to interfere with his sleep cycles, he stopped going out.
Fortunately it turned out his own place was extremely Active as it was.
While his wife was a believer herself, Rick's early obsession with investigating, her interest in the paranormal began to wane substantially.
A good Samaritan helping his vehicle out of a ditch gave Rick a broshure about God, which Rick felt was a message to Stop So Much Recording.
Rick went on to speak about Remote Viewing.

asked as to how he first came across realizing he had the ability.

reported tonight's listeners being in the US, the UK, Malasia, Thailand, Canada, and Australia.
Unfortunately much of Rick's audio through Skype came through a but muddy.

Rick got Working out; a big muscle man who went from weight lifting to Not So Much.
He also got a female going through a rough time; crying around me.
The word Staggering came to mind.
Another person around with an issue with cursing.
Some money coming up; coming to me
(I'd earlier mentioned working on the
Everything
feature).
He also kept hearing motorcyles.
Then he began feeling Weakness/es.
Then he kept hear Yelling, but in the background.
Another name coming through: Tommy.
I pointed out very little seemed to relate.
I mentioned the Everything project, and while that won't be a lot of money, it'll be Something.
While I've a cousin Tommy, we're sadly not in regular communication; and I added not having a girlfriend currently so I've no idea about one crying or having a rough time.
Henry tried calling in
chat room
member Sheri, but her phone wouldn't accept a call from "blocked" numbers, a la Skype.
AS this seemed to be an ongoing issues, Rich did Readings by being given the name of those he'd read.
