Cat E. Gasch
Tonight on this
Ultimate Pi Day,
our guest was
Cat Gasch
author of
My Life Amidst the Paranormal.
Cat began seeing Shadows and such around the age of five, when house renovation stirred up Activity.
At age seven she began seeing spirits, and around nine and ten she began seeing full on full-body apparitions.
Henry
had her speak about the Neighbour Lady story from her book, and the Octagon House in which she came across a Shimmering Light which converged into a small woman, which vanished as she turned when Cat spoke to her.
Cat indicated her most profound experience was the story in her book titled James.
After the first break,
Ceiling Cat
[CC]
Barbara Duncan
had Cat speak of her Tapping story she'd experienced in Ireland, as well as an Old Mill House story.
CC also had Cat speak about the Irish Faerie Cat, which Cat indicated being probably Elementals.
Cat indicated coming across a Torti cat in Ireland, and instead of a green eye glow as with most domestic felines, this one had a reddish-gold glow.
Cat thought it was not a real cat, but an ornament, until it really started moving about, at which point its eye glow shifted to blue.
Later at the B&B Cat asked the cat, but was told there was very few cats in the village, let alone a Torti.
SOme time later, listening to
Marla
Stirring the Cauldron
with guest
Barry Fitzgerald
that night.
Cat conveyed her experience, and Barry confirmed most likely it was an elemental, thankfully more of a guardian aspect, possibly even a sidhe
(pronounced "shee").
Henry then had her speak about her seeing something at the
Snider House
during a Gettysburg investigation with Henry and
GhostSoldiers's
Pat
and
Doug.
Kat
wondered how Cat had developed her Third Eye abilities, if it was similar to how Kat had had to do it growing up.
After the second break, CC reported our having listeners tonight from the US, Canada, and England; offline we learned Australia listeners came on as well.
She then asked Cat about an experience at the
Trans-Allegheny Lunatic Asylum
Having worked with
John Sabol,
CC was aware of trigger re-enacting, so she brought with her to the fourth floor some recorded Elvis music.
She switched on the music and Hound Dog came on, and the temperature dropped significantly.
A door suddenly flew open, so Cat turned back on the music, and the cold returned.
Henry elicited from Cat the stories Smuggler's Secrets, and from Scotland, the Grimey Polite Ghost.
Cat had provided Henry with several of the EVP audio files, he played one from
Antietam,
then one from a Masonic Temple.
One EVP had a perplexed ghost wondering How Cat had been able to see him.
Another, "11th Monument" was at the Gettysburg
Burnside Bridge
with a majorly Class A EVP of a female's voice so clear it sounded like someone standing next to Cat.
Cat plugged her
book,
and gave out her
Facebook
information through which one can negotiated a signed copy.
I gave out the official
Paranormal View page
info, and as he began stumbling about Where Else, such as
iTunes,
CC quickly added one could go to
my Paranormal View hub page
on my website, though she did give a slightly inaccurate URL: geoffreygould dot net as opposed to simply
geoffgould.net.
Kat gave out
her own Twitter,
her
Kat Klockow author website,
her
Jinxed comic,
the show's
presence on Twitter,
the show now being
available on iTunes
as well as promoting the Tohoku
Genki Mail Project.
Henry conveyed our guest the next week would be
Stanton Friedman.
