Sandra Alvarez
Our guest tonight was
Sandra Alvarez,
producer of
The Ghost Inside My Child
on the
My Lifetime Network
channel, aka LMN.
I was absent, attending the annual
GallifreyOne
convention, which
Henry
mentioned, and fellow Whovian
Kat
indicated looking forward to seeing
the photos
I'd be taking.
They started off with
Ceiling Cat Barbara
discussing her own interests in reincarnation.
Sandra indicated how well received the series has been, though it's a bit tricky to find families of children clearly reincarnated.
She went into that details would match up, but not specific research on the lives the children are recalling.
One child recalled being on the Titanic, and the details this four-year-old conveyed, but now 19, those memories had faded.
One male five-year-old recalled a former life as a female named Pam who'd died in a fire.
CC recalled one child's recollection of being a background actor in the early days of film, although that story wasn't from this series.
The series is about to start its second season; Sandra spoke of an upcoming story of a son reincarnated of his mother's dead brother.
Sandra pointed out that they simply fly out to the family's place, they'd interview/film the child's story, then the family, and spend a day with the re-created scenes.
Kat pointed out some stories show the children able to converse in a second language which was not their first language.
(Just
before the second break, Kat also pointed out any strange thumping sounds that might be heard were her dogs who had awakened and where chasing each other
about.)
They went into great detail about the boy who had drowned from the Titanic; it was suspected the boy may have been the ship's architect
Thomas Anders,
who went down with the ship.
One little girl had More Than Just the reincarnation aspect; she could sense/see spirits as well.
It was discussed how with most of the children the memories fade with time.
They posited that once their Stories were conveyed, the children were able to proceed with their current lifetimes.
Considering how the family and children are treated with respect, the show has been very well received.
Sandra plugged the
casting call
for eight more episodes of
The Ghost Inside My Child
and they can be contacted at
mychildstory@yahoo.com
(Sandra was assured I'd do up the report so her contact information would be here).
As the show was winding down, having sped by its two hours again, Henry gave Sandra time to
provide her contact information, her
mychildstory@yahoo.com
email
(urging people to call Just In Case it works out that they can be utilized),
suggesting a search for
LMN
site to find the
The Ghost Inside My Child
page
(thought it's far easier just to click on the link here...).
Kat gave out her
paranormal author
site, and her
huntforghosts.com
site at which visitors can peruse her graphic novel.
Henry gave out the show's
theparanormalview.com
site, comically adding that I have "a bunch of" different sites, even mentioning my
personal paranormal experiences
page on my website.
As it was, indeed I was not available to provide the show's various page locations such as
my site's hub page,
the show's
official site,
that we're findable on
on Facebook,
et al.
