Krystal Depew
Tonight our guest was
Krystal Depew
of the
Illinois Ghost Seekers Society.
Just before going on the air we awkwardly if amusingly learned quite quickly that the "cemetary safety" topic was no way connected to Krystal, as her group doesn't really deal with graveyards.
Growing up near Peroria, Krystal spoke of growing up in a haunted house her parents built: mostly Shadow People.
When her father became ill and bed ridden, it seemed the entities were attached to him.
Managing to communicate with some of them, the primary being named
Jacob Eller.
As a full-body apparition, Jacob is more visible than as a Shadow Person.
Jacob also tends to look out for Krystal's ill dad.
Krystal's sister has espied a female, but no one else has seen the female entity.
As Marquette Heights is filled with ancient Native American burial grounds and such, it was posited possibly that could explain the paranormal activity.
Krystal indicated her favourite film being
Poltergeist,
which has us also learn Kat has never seen the famous film.
Kat asked after the equipment the groups uses;
Krystal's favourite pieces of equipment are the
REM pod
and
Mel REM,
both developed by
Gary Galka.
She also likes the Radio Frequency Meter, simply acquired at a hardware store for about $16.
She indicated EM Pumps tend to cause slight disorientation to investigators.
Tonight we had listeners in the US, the UK, France, Finland, Australia, Canada and Paraguay.
Krystal spoke about the
Skinner House
which she conveyed on the
season three episode eight
edition of
My Ghost Story,
titled
Screamville.
They've investigated
Peoria Asylum
in Bartonville, Illinois;
apparently one
George Seller
turned the placed around, improving the place immeasurably: no patient horror stories as so often the case in such past asylums.
The
Bowen Building
is the most haunted, in which they heard voices, whistling, moans, full body apparitions, etc.
They've also investigated the rather haunted
Cherry Street Bar and Grill haunted
with some impressive results.
She would love to check out the
Villisca Axe Murder House
in Villisca, Iowa.
She would also like to see the
Watseka Wonder,
at Kat's suggestion.
Henry suggested haunted
Hill View Manor.
Krystal gave out the
Illinois Ghost Seekers Society website
the
group's Facebook
page,
and her own
Facebook
page.
I provided my
Paranormal View hub page
on my website, indicating people from there can find the show's respective report pages,
that we're very
findable on Facebook,
the official
Paranormal View page
page, and adding there being information regarding
health products
people should be taking by indicating anyone wanting to live longer and healthier, and/or with health issues or just...
aging
in general...
could
contact me directly,
et al.
Kat gave out her
Facebook page
whilst
Barbara neglected to give out her
own Facebook
information.
