Marla Brooks
Tonight we had returning guest Marla Brooks (of the Thursday night para-x show Stirring the Cauldron), as stomach flu had rendered our regularly scheduled guest Kristy Robinett unavailable. While he was only available for the first hour, also brought in was Steve Shockley of the show Rock With the Shock, whom Barbara was able to introduce, as he such a last-minute addition, I had no bio for him.
As a teen he hung out at Fort Mifflin whilst it was still abandoned.
He came across para-x, friends of his being hosts, he eventually decided to bring his DJ type shows he'd previously done to the station. We discussed at length various aspects of radio, its history, Bob & Ray, and Steve's previous on-air "alias" names.
The year I graduated high school, Steve had had a major paranormal experience in 1975: a demonic entity in a department store. Previously, Mary Eastburn owned the property, her farm of which being part of the Underground Railroad. Steve had been writing a book Agatha Walks By Night. The entity he was investigating came to his home, staring down at him in his bed. He focused on the 46th Psalms verse 10: "Be still, and know that I am God." Eventually he began watching the ghost hunting show/s and, suspecting EVPs could be hoaxed, went out on his own. He went to an 1850-built Atlanta, Georgia cemetary where he got on tape Direct Responses to his questions.
He has investigated Jim Thorpe Pennsylvania jail. He got one EVP in which a comment he made received an editorial comment response.
Before Steve left, Henry played for him a good EVP obtained at Waverly Hills. Realizing there was but little left to the show, Steve hung out for the rest of the show.
Barbara reported tonight we had listeners in the US, the UK, Canada and first-time having listeners in Switzerland.
Henry asked Marla about her books, starting off with the first Ghosts of Hollywood: The Show Still Goes on, discussing the Phantom Bartender at Yamashiro Restaurant near the Magic Castle in the Hollywood Hills, and Groucho Marx being sighted in his Laugh Factory office.

Marla discussed the "curse" of the film Rosemary's Baby, as well as the Kryptonite Curse, and the funeral and the last days of Bela Lugosi.
Steve wondered whether after we Pass, are celebrities/performers recognized as the famous people they were, or are they treated as equals?
Steve gave out his Rock With the Shock website, his Facebook profile, and Marla relayed her website previously having plugged Stirring the Cauldron, and updated Facebook information. I provided my website URL, the Paranormal View hub-page therein, that The Paranormal View page being easily findable on Facebook, et al.
