Ryan's Tavern and ParaCon
Tonight was
ParaCon,
as well as our show's live broadcast, from the active
Ryan's Tavern
in Hamilton, Ohio.
Kat got her wish of wearing Funny Hats, starting out with a Pikachu hat; at one point Henry wore his Confederate hat.
As usual with such live, on-location broadcasts there were substantial broadcasting issues, both audio and the
live video feed.
I had to reboot my computer, getting back in about seven minutes into the show, where they were interviewing spiritualist
Joe Mason
and psychic
Tiffany Mason
both of
TriOps.
Tiffany described on the third floor smelling smoke and fire;
she once saw "a German guy" speaking same:
the third floor had been a textile shop that had had a fire.
She walked through the cellar and looking back she could see several bodies lying on the floor.
She was later told that the placed had been used to store the dead from a flood.
They spoke about the Daily Noice that takes place between 10-11pm, which cannot be specifically located.
After the first break they brought on
Lori Dennon
and
Rob Dennon
of
Shadowhunters Paranormal.
Lori spoke about work in private residences, and while they've been to
Mansfield,
Rob expressed looking forward one day to visiting.
Waverly Hills.
While the show went on, the live-stream video occasionally, then more frequently, cut out, while in my headset the audio was rather muddy, Nancy in the chat room relayed it seemed okay on the air proper, as it demonstrated on the embedded podcast being played back.
In the chat room CC was able to convey that tonight we had listeners from the US, Canada and Malaysia.
Tavern owner
Vicky Ryan
was brought on, relating how she had broken bones working there,
as well as reporting various sounds and experiences she's had, and the history of the building.
The building had three different owners with different aspects thereof; a general store, textiles, clothing, etc.
At night a Shadow can be seen walking back and forth; connected by tunnels beneath, the cellar was an aspect of the Underground Railroad.
In one of the ghost tours, via divining rods they'd get responses from an escaped slave, particularly if the person holding the rods was black.
I conveyed the show's various page locations
(my site's
Paranormal View hub page,
the show's
official site,
that we're findable on
on Facebook,
et al);
Kat gave out
her website
and indicated wearing her own
Paranormal View Tank-Top;
Henry indicated our next week's guest being
Pam Oslie
of
Love Colors,
and
Aura Colors,
and Kat and I had a Good Night vocal collision as we signed off...
