Return to Morrison Masonic Lodge; The Paranormal Vous...
Henry was to broadcast live
once again
from the active
Morrison Masonic Lodge
at 125 North Mulberry Street,
Elizabethtown,
Kentucky, but somehow was unable to make it.
He contacted me via Facebook that
Dave Jones
would be handling the "round table discussion" and would be Skype-calling in Henry, but as yet it was unclear whether the rest of the Paranormal View Crew would be called in as well.
Prior to showtime I logged onto Skype, preparing also to watch the live broadcast
ParaVision
(which was still happening),
and find out.
The show, as generally would be the case in such video investigations, was simultaneously broadcast via
ustream.tv/channel/paraxteladio.
Dave sat to the screen left of the table
(about a third of the time off screen, as those at the table were more featured; the camera stayed on Dave when he was talking longer than just a quick question);
on the panel was
Doug McReynolds
Jenna Black,
JC Landord
and
Patrick McCormick.
Firefox couldn't handle the video too well and crashed;
I went over to the paraxteladio at ustream.tv at which I could get a few frame-grabs.
Using Safari as a browser, I began to see if I could back-and-forth between the ustream channel video and the para-x chat room.
As generally is the case, what with Ustream not being the most forthright video broadcaster, it began airing Something Entirely Different
(and without audio),
then went blank.
Henry on Skype texted that the video feed had been lost
(so it wasn't me);
Dave was working at getting it back online.
Dave quickly got it back, with Henry plugging the real Paranormal View show, whilst Ustream getting requesting I logon despite my continually logging on.
I noted they'd shifted positions:
Doug McReynolds,
Julie DeGiovanni,
Jenna Black
and
Patrick McCormick.
Patrick pointed out when their motion sensor, up on the balcony, would go off.
One has to be right on top of it; he clarified it was next to Abby's doll, an item that tended to attract a little ghost named Abby.
Dave clarified with Henry that Henry has not had a full-on Experience as the rest of us.
Henry had found Para-X and got into it that way, "blaming" everything else on Dave...
After the second break, I called in, as Patrick had spoke of being surprised at animal spirits.
I pointed out I'd
experienced a ghost dog
myself, and we discussed animal spirits, despite on the phone I could only understand Dave, and over the phone the rest sounded like Charlie Brown's teacher/s.
They discussed Sony discontinuing cameras with infra-red night-vision, and Sony's bad-business-sensed horror at being considered a supplier of ghost-hunting equipment.
They also pointed out how the National Park Service "does not take kindly" to ghost hunters/paranormal investigators, et al.
As Jenna indicated how some "religious" folks are pro and some are con about investigation/s, Dave pointed out evidence of survival past death technically affirms religious views, not rebuking it.
They wrapped by the show a hiccough after the end of the second hour, and shifted cameras for the actual investigation.
The cameras were reset, two faced each other, one from the balcony looking over the room, the other back up at the balcony, but none on and observing the balcony
(at least not yet),
where Abby's doll and the motion sensor was located.
The lights on the ceiling fan
(Channel 2),
were set to high or such, causing a major light-flare glare across the middle of the screen.
Audio was enabled, but created a strange intermittent hissing, similar to breathing, but not quite.
Not to be confused with some sort of embedded "dots" on two of the channels' screens,
Channel 1 started giving some great, very active moving-orb activity, but I couldn't catch a frame grab of'em;
they were moving in and out of frame, and moving so fast that by the time I'd see them skittering by mid-screen they'd be off screen before I could hit the button.
It was like friggin' Whack-A-Mole; they'd sometimes appear mid-frame, coming towards the camera and head off screen.
Also, the spotlight within Channel 2 washed out much so while the moving orbs were quite visible
(on both channels),
they were not enough for clear frame-grabs.
They were far more visible as they were moving that as still frames.
After catching at least two "good" shots, I wrapped it up.
If Dave was able to archive the full video of the show and the investigation, I will embed it here
(or if necessary, link to it),
and figure out the time stamps at which Stuff Happens.
