Joedy Cook
Our guest tonight was the impressive Joedy Cook of the Ohio Center for Bigfoot Studies, who started out in our pre-show conveying a high level of intelligence. After handling a pre-show audio issue, we discussed a few things as we got ready to go on the air.
The show opened with a 911 audio clip of someone [allegedly] having a Sasquatch encounter, but Joedy pointed out there was too much questionable aspects to the call to actually be a Bigfoot.
He related his first own encounter, which was very very close, at the time of which he wasn't even into the topic as yet; it even took him years to talk about it.
At being queried over DNA samples, Joedy related how a Quaker minister contacted them about a Bigfoot that cut itself on a fence, which provided DNA "of an unknown species."
He spoke of how eastern Bigfoot being more aggressive (e.g., east of the Rockies). He and I discussed how, apart from Hawaii obviously, every state has Sasquatch.
I related my own possible Sasquatch experience, and Joedy concurred how Active Pennsylvania is as far as Cryptids. He did stress his disbelief that there's any sort of UFO and Bigfoot "connection." He even pointed out that MUFON is more of a font of disinformation than anything else; filled with former CIA people who will go out of their way to debunk and defame those reporting any UFO activity.
Henry told us we had listeners in the US, UK, Australia, Germany and Finland, as we went to break.

Ironically, Reverend Tim had Private Messaged me a question for Joedy, about whether he'd ever checked on the Jersey Devil. Joedy indicated his putting together Cryptid Seekers with which he's involved, and that their newly created site would be up in about a week, but that as yet they've not yet really checked into the Jersey Devil.
On our return I wished Joedy happy birthday, having learned via his Facebook profile that his birthday being April 1st.
Craig asked about where there was so much Ohio activity, which Joedy related, including but not limited to Salt Fork State Park having a "Sasquatch Triangle," et al, and how after an episode of Monster Quest filmed there, they've always been in the black, packed with people even during winter.
He is writing a new book (scheduled to come out May), Beginners Field Guide to Bigfoot Research, that one mostly needs a good camera, audio, and a keen eye; not to waste time on thermal imaging (e.g., for beginners), etc., and to be careful with night-vision: civilian and military night-vision is very different. He did say the book should be released in May, that he should have it on hand for the Ohio Bigfoot Conference he'd be attending 13th-15th May at the Salt Fork State Park Lodge.
He answered Kat's question as to whether there is any effort being made to compare various DNA evidence from suspected Bigfoot sightings.
Jody Kym of Reign Radio asked what are your thoughts on Mothman being sighted before natural and unnatural events. He spoke of Point Pleasant and how one feel the negativity of the area.
The most recently sighting apparently in Ohio was in Franklin County in January; just crossing someone's backyard, leaving large three-toed prints.
In the chat room, Reverent Tim conveyed of a much more recent Bigfoot sighting in Pennsylvania.
Joedy also debunked the debunking of the 1967 Roger Patterson video, which Joedy feel was a real encounter; in 1967 to have faked such a video would have been prohibitively expensive. He also doubted that Sasquatch live in groups. He relayed that having notified every sheriff's office in Ohio, many of his reports now come from Ohio law enforcement and park rangers.
Generally through his manager, Joedy planned to attend such paranormal conferences this year as Mid South, Scarefest and Haunted Retreat at the Old Pittsburgh Hospital in Tennessee.
We wrapped the show on Joedy providing various links and contact information, I gave out my links and such (including but not limited to the new Paranormal View show store), and Henry announced next week having our Craig broadcasting live from Antietam and a ghost excavation with John Sabol Jr., who been a previous show guest of ours.
